Welcome to Desserts by Michael Allen! Michael is the Executive Pastry Chef at Water's Edge Restaurant. He is well known for his skills in chocolate, pastillage and pulled sugar, all for which he’s received awards.
With the opening of the new Desserts by Michael Allen pastry shop in Clinton Hill, they are not only providing the Brooklyn Community with the critically acclaimed desserts Michael is famous for, but delicious gourmet soups, sandwiches and salads to satisfy all of your food cravings. All recipes were devised by Michael himself, and include only the freshest of ingredients. Whether dining in or ordering out, Desserts by Michael Allen is always an excellent choice for quality food at an affordable price that is crafted by the master chef himself!
Chicken Noodle Soup
Luxembourg Salad—Frisee, Endive, Blue cheese, pears, toasted walnuts and walnut vinaigrette
Le Parisien Sandwich—Ham and Brie with Dijon mustard
Michael’s Choice Sandwich—Grilled chicken, marinated artichokes, roasted tomato and fresh Goat cheese
Le Boeuf Roti—Caramelized onions and horseradish créme fraiche
Croque Monsieur—Ham, Gruyere and béchamel; served with a side salad
took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to deliver (although there WAS a snow storm) and the food was just ok.

Everything I've had has been phenomenal. The employees have also been super helpful and provide excellent service.

Food is always good. Service is fantastic. I love this place. My only complaint is they always run out of almond croissants.

It was OK. Everything was a day old, and I didnt get what I ordered. If it was fresh, I bet it wouldve been fabulous. Disappointing!
